It is soooo friggin hot....
I think battle in our home is almost over.... it has been a pretty quiet battle....K only knows some thing is up because he slept in the basement. My heart hurts more when I hold in the anger...I can't do it...I love him I miss him.....I don't want to be angry.

As a wife how do you know how much to give and how much to save for yourself?

What is the difference between being forgiving and tolerant to unacceptable behavior?

We will be fine....we always are...the hurt just always stays there...dormant until I drink a bottle of wine

Today is the last day I babysit....as much as I complained in the last post....it wasn't about him....just the situation...I will miss him!

Saw Harry Potter last night...K got a tad scared. It was good. Guess I really don't have any authority to critque it because I am not a fan. CALM DOWN! I don't not like the books/movies I am just not in to Sci Fi too much. Imagine ME a Teacher, has not read ONE BOOK!

Today we have the Parent vs. Child end of the year softball game. It is 100 degress. I am trying to twist my own ankle before 5 pm so I don't have to sweat my arse off. Friday I am heading to a friend's house that actually lives by Targets and Mexican Resturants to have a thrift sale...I buy so much on line and it is more cost effective but once in ahwile something is just not right or doesn't fit...so I am bringing all that new stuff to make some quick cash. I can't part with most of K's stuff....I still believe I may need it one day!

Monday I start class. A bunch of really fun people are car pooling and the class is pretty low key so I am actaully looking forward to putting getting up putting something on other than a sports bra and "Go ahead Puke on Me clothes" and hanging out with GROWN UPS!

If one more person asks me if I am ready for school I am going to puke in my mouth a little. DON'T USE THE "S" word with until August 20 something people!

*Side note...I know mentioned somewhere on this blog that we needed trees cut down like 6 of them...2 which were HUGE pine trees...well it got put of for many various reasons...until yesterday after a very mean thing in our house happened that I will not discuss here and will only say it wasn't physical abuse or drugs or anything like that...my boundry got crossed and I am just not sure how to go from here because I am all about forgiveness but I am not the Lord Savior himself so it may take some time....ahh I feel like a crime was committed....it wasn't I just have certain things...or should I say WORDS (that are probably said in most houses across America) that I do not accpet out of people's mouths...let's just say the trees got cut.
Now in true teachbroeck style I would have loved to leave you with pictures of the beauts being hacked down and hauled away down the road WHOLE, but I was not crossing paths with a certian person and my camera was in the TB.

Most of you that read (and when I say most I mean ALL 3 of you =) ) are mothers or will be soon ;)....so I have a question

When you need daycare do you?

-Ask the provider of this EXCEPTIONAL daycare to get up at the crack of ass and drive to your house? (which means her own daughter must also get up )

-Leave a poopy diaper for three hours so the "hired help" can deal with it

-Expect the sitter to dig through piles of clean and unclean laundry to find an outfit that fits

-Leave NO instructions

-Leave NO clean spoons, bibs or bottles

-Expect the sitter to pack the diaper bag for the day including measuring out all the formula and nursery water

-Forget the stroller EVERY time so the sitter has to drive to your place of work and get it herself (because the sitter DOES have other things to do and asked you from day one for the stroller to go for morning walks)

-To listen to you complain because you worked 5 days in a row for the FIRST TIME IN YOUR LIFE and now you are going to take a nap (and force your baby to too)...then go shopping for the most expensive baby clothes and maybe some hoochie mama clothes for yourself

-To do all this for FREE ...not a damn dime...

OKAY OKAY I am the "SITTER" and I Love it....but really......REAL LIFE PEOPLE....when I took Kdog to the sitter it meant getting up early to get my own ass ready, pack her bag FILLED with all the things she needed, change her, clean her, feed her, and then drive how ever far I needed to for the best care....and I paid through the NOSE! Not to mention do some laundry, pay bills, feed animals ......I WISH I could have rolled out of bed got myself ready and the walked out the door knowing everything would be taken care of....

O'well we are family and I love him dearly, but this is CRAZY!!!!

Other than that summer has been packed with softball, swimming lessons, birthdays, cookouts, my dear beloved small town turning 150, and I cherish every moment of it....

I love my Nephew!

It is Tuesday and I am still confused on the date...time ...etc...until Sunday when I ended up at the bar with my MIL and FIL for "b-day" drinks- it was a whirlwind of brats, booze, swimming, laughing and eating more during one day then is healthy!!!!! I feel so blessed to get to see so much of my friends and family, because they too have days off and partying on the mind. As usual I documented most of it with photos (the pool party got crazy and who cares about the Creative Memories party I had....well I did but you don't)

JDog's parents spend A LOT of time camping 20 minutes out of town. Seems funny to me who camps AWAY from town, but they have 5 other friends who get summer sites and it is their home away from home...spent some good nights up there drinking, eating and talking smart.

The night before my birthday AKA 4th of July KB had a "gathering". I think you can tell by the picture what we did. How many 30 year olds still play tippy cup?

We stumbled to the bar and YIPPIE for me my lovely Tina was there!

The "cake" I made for the family.

Some of the beautiful women in my family.

ME and K Dog at our house on the 4th. The whole time my cousin was taking the picture I was thinking PLEASE don't let my undies be showing!

Later that night KB and her hubby came over and it turned into a bigger crowd. APPLES to APPLES my favorite game!

Finally, a rest! July 5th I went to Tina's house for a break....and a swim...well we cracked beers at noon and then my hubby and her hubby and some friends joined us....gah!

Finally relaxation....K went with my parents to their cabin later on the 4th....by Saturday I missed her so much we drove up for the night.

Many more pics on FLICKR...trying to read and catch up with everyone else!

I really do have the best friends and family a girl could want.
