Most of you that read (and when I say most I mean ALL 3 of you =) ) are mothers or will be soon ;)....so I have a question
When you need daycare do you?
-Ask the provider of this EXCEPTIONAL daycare to get up at the crack of ass and drive to your house? (which means her own daughter must also get up )
-Leave a poopy diaper for three hours so the "hired help" can deal with it
-Expect the sitter to dig through piles of clean and unclean laundry to find an outfit that fits
-Leave NO instructions
-Leave NO clean spoons, bibs or bottles
-Expect the sitter to pack the diaper bag for the day including measuring out all the formula and nursery water
-Forget the stroller EVERY time so the sitter has to drive to your place of work and get it herself (because the sitter DOES have other things to do and asked you from day one for the stroller to go for morning walks)
-To listen to you complain because you worked 5 days in a row for the FIRST TIME IN YOUR LIFE and now you are going to take a nap (and force your baby to too)...then go shopping for the most expensive baby clothes and maybe some hoochie mama clothes for yourself
-To do all this for FREE ...not a damn dime...
OKAY OKAY I am the "SITTER" and I Love it....but really......REAL LIFE PEOPLE....when I took Kdog to the sitter it meant getting up early to get my own ass ready, pack her bag FILLED with all the things she needed, change her, clean her, feed her, and then drive how ever far I needed to for the best care....and I paid through the NOSE! Not to mention do some laundry, pay bills, feed animals ......I WISH I could have rolled out of bed got myself ready and the walked out the door knowing everything would be taken care of....
O'well we are family and I love him dearly, but this is CRAZY!!!!
Other than that summer has been packed with softball, swimming lessons, birthdays, cookouts, my dear beloved small town turning 150, and I cherish every moment of it....
I love my Nephew!
