Win Win Situation

We adore our beloved Packers in our house, but the Cowboys are a close second. J's g parents are originally from Texas and influenced all of us as you can see! I am no football guru, but the Packers didn't deserve the win...the defense was poor and then there is the whole "arm" issue. Even with the loss we were impressed with Aaron Rodgers efforts.
We enjoyed some spicy chili with all the fixings, munchies, beer (not me) and some key lime pie. Where the photos are of all this? I am not sure...I guess I was to into my family to get it all and that is okay.
Nephew is starting to walk. My SIL didn't have any pics of him so today I put some captions and borders on some pics of him walking...it is a MILESTONE for pete sake!
I had just as much fun watch him as the game! Christmas will be so fun!
We let the beast in after awhile (very generous on my part). He loved nephew. He was gentle but a little over bearing. But I guess he needs to get used to babies =)

So I have mentioned this RASH to some of you....it is horrible...it started on my "chest" and I thought I was just itchy because of the massive growth spurt the "girls" were having. Then it slowly traveled down my belly, and spread to my pits...It was worse in the morning after my shower (so I thought).
I went through the mental checklist.
New soap? NO bought I bought some Sensitive Skin stuff anyway
New detergent? NO
New bedding? NO
New bra on Ebay ?NO
I tried lotion....no lotion....etc....then I called my Dr...I mean after all I am PREGNANT! This must be some west nile reaction and I should be rushed to ER and be forced to lay down and rest....whilst sucking iced coffees...where was I?
No no the nurse said try Hydrocortizone cream or Benedryl....I let her know I was already taking Benedryl at night because with this cold it was the closet thing I could take and feel a Nyquil+Brandy buzz to get some sleep.
Fast forward to last night as I entered the grocery store to pick up a few items because Jdog is having his mom &stepdad over the PACKER/COWBOY game tonight...(Cowboys are a close second favorite in our family because J's gpa and gma are from Texas) it dawned on my that my sister was allergic to a common medicine...I called my mom 385358604956 times but it was busy (my g'ma was on the line of course) on the way home I got through and asked her what Medication my little sis was allergic too (my sis was very ill as child...she passed away when she was 19 and I don't know if I will ever blog about that...maybe) my mom told me BENEDRYL! I had been poisoning myself! It was even the med the nurse recommended for the rash but I was already taking.....GOODBYE sweet BENEDRLY DROWSINESS!
As I soaking this all in...I see blue and red lights in my review....
Every cush words I know ran through my head....turns out just to be a burnt out headlight...the 12 year old cop who pulled me over was nice and I was on my way with in 10 minutes...I still get all panicky when I ge tpulled over...."YES OFFICER" "OK OFFICER" Like I was drinking a 6-pack or something on the ride home!
But today I feel better....still itchy...but better....trying to be more positive...my blog has been a bit whiny lately!
PS It was 8 degrees this am plus windchill....I was suppose to put Gage in the garage but I didn't. HE HAS FUR PEOPLE!

I went to get the car out of the garage before work and slipped on my well SLIP ONS and now I have brown shoes on with black socks and pants. THANK GOD third graders don't care about fashion.
Most of my vacation this is what Jdog looked like: tired, buzzed, and passed out. His phone had a text on it to me that read "I think I may go to bed"I guess he fell asleep before he pushed send. Hee hee Thank god GUN season is over.
Some beautiful mornings over break. (I cried 2 days about the dog..THE DOG! He kept running away to the pastures and chasing horses and bulls and WOULD NOT COME BACK! The first day I went to go get him at the neighbors who have a farm...I was so embarraseed...once I go there he would not GET IN MY CAR (with leather seats mind you grrr) because it was dog heaven over there....other dogs, children on bikes and DUCKS which I am no dog expert, but goldens are instinctively trained to CHASE! So here I am bent over with my maternity pants falling off my ass and my fingernails bend back trying to get him in my car...the farmer men just laughed and helped me) The second day i said f it....let the bull gorge him...J had to come OUT OF THE WOODS and get him which of course he came running when he saw him for me he runs faster the OTHER way....damn HIM! We put a shock collar on him and J went back to the woods...I tried to train him by giving him WARNING buzzes when he came close to the fenceline and then he just darted away....I pressed that shock button so hard but nothing- he was already out of range! J had to come back and then he was so pissed....end of story is that Gage can't be out when I am home alone anymore WOW That was a post in itself...o'well It has been 5 days...)
I wrapped. Don't be mad....I was alone, sick and can't drink my beloved wine...what else was I going to do?

Passed down through the generations...okay okay it is a little faddy, but it was on clearance at T@rget the day after Thanksgiving...which I went to. With a baby stroller and an 8 year old. WHAT WAS I THINKING?
I wrapped. Don't be mad....I was alone, sick and can't drink my beloved wine...what else was I going to do?

In other mundane news I had an OPEN HOUSE at my house on Satruday. My friend Smangie who is a Creative Memories rep helped people frame their precious pictures and art work. My other friend LP sold her Tastefully Simple goodies...these pictures really don't capture the good ole time we had, but that is because I was planted by the food counter and really didn't have time from the dips and beer bread to be taking pictures of the whole ordeal. SIDENOTE: Do you know how depressing it was to buy beer and *deep breath* WINE and not be able to drink it?
I am waiting for HUNTING (aka drink too much and talk shit) SEASON to be over...I have not harrassed or bugged my hubby about it once and he has come home at pretty decent times. Of course he has a "deer cutting party" Wed. and works Thanksgiving (grrr) and then has the "deer eating party" Friday. My second longest vacation all year and he is busy =( more turkey for me!

I was listening to this guy on the way to work (which my hubby bought me yesterday because he is basically my man slave until the debauchery he labels HUNTING) and I got teary! You try listening to Silent Night with his sugary voice and not get choked up...and don't even get me started on Oh Holy Night.....so is it the pregnancy or does anyone else get emotional over Christmas music?
I went for my 16 week doctor visit yesterday and since J dog had a million things to do and this was just a quick measure and listen I invited my mother....again because NOTHING IMPORTANT was happening (look up over-bearing in the dictionary- bless her heart) So because she was there he pulled in the ultrsaound machine! I LOVE MY DR! He knows I still have residual worries from the 2 lost babies before ....and he was showing off for a med student ...but who cares! We got to see the perfect spine...4 beating chambers...fingers, ribs and a YAWN!!!!!!!!!! The dr called the u/s machine the Fisher Price of machines....so IMAGINE what DECEMBER 11th WILL BE LIKE when we have a scheduled appointment with the ULTRASOUND TECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my ya yas...the worst picture of me ever but in the other shot R's eyes are closed! The one in the middle (J) is getting divorced in 8 days. The one on the right (R) is having her first baby in January. ME...well I have done both ...I am just the triple chin red faced HAPPY girl on the left!
I am 15 weeks today! I will do a belly shot at 16 weeks.
